Yesterday you were treated to all the fine details of Heather and John's beautiful wedding at Hidden Meadows in Snohomish. Today is wedding day.
We started the day off like most weddings, with a little make up and some hair spray. I was delighted to find that Heather wasn't too paranoid about getting her dress a little dusty before the wedding, so we took advantage of that (and the AMAZING storm clouds) by taking a stroll along some super awesome train tracks. They even walked out on the trestle for me- as I've mentioned before these two are SO cool. We then took the guys out there with their whiskey and had a little fun before grabbing the ladies for some more silliness.
After goofing around a little more with the ladies, it was time to officially get things rolling. Ceremony time! John danced down the aisle like a rockstar, high-fiving and shaking hands the whole way and Heather looked gorgeous being escorted by her father. Their vows were personal and beautiful, as were the readings chosen and read by family and friends.
Two "I dos" and a big kiss later, they were rushing back up the aisle and off to start the reception. There were hilarious toasts, touching remarks, and wonderful words of wisdom before their first dance. The music was outstanding, and not to offend any of my other wedding couples, but probably THE best soundtrack I've heard at a wedding for a long time. Amazing. These two are really into music and John chose all of the wedding tunes personally, and I mean every single song. I am actually tempted to ask for the list so I can kick it in my car whenever I want.
The rest of the evening was filled with dinner and dancing, lots of laughs, and of course the obligatory conga line. After all the mason glasses had been drained and all the cake forks licked clean, their guests lined up outside for a sparkler-fueled send off to an awaiting town car.
We had such a fun time with these two and all of their family and friends! Thank you both for being such a wonderful couple and so incredibly gracious to myself and my assistant, Adam.
I simply can't say it enough, you guys ROCK!!!
