The Many Faces of Charlie Bear
What big blue eyes you have!
Saturday morning I was once again face to face with my dear friend, little Charlie Mueller. While I was hoping for a few more smiles, Charlie was still able to more than delight with his many sweet, sweet faces.

New Sister-Site | House Of Wee Photography
Drum roll please...
As some of you may know, I've been working on a new sister-site to showcase my pet and kiddo photography. Well, it's finally here! After several months of trying to find just the right feel and just the right name, House of Wee was born. While there are still a few components left to include, the site is now officially up and running! Head on over and check it out HERE.
Thanks to all the kiddos and families I've photographed so far, especially my current poster-boy, Hank. You are a rockstar, kiddo.

Hank Hewson | Party Like a Rockstar!
happy birthday to you
happy birthday to you
happy birthday dear Henry
happy birthday to you...
Henry Parker Hewson was born one year ago today, but we met up this past Saturday to celebrate a little early. I met Hank and his parents, Amanda and Ricky, last year when I photographed their wedding at the Monte Villa Farmhouse. I absolutely adore this family and it was such a pleasure to hang out with them once again. How completely adorable are Hank's little cupcake and party hat? Momma Hewson, you did a stellar job and I'm sure that Hank's circus-themed party (minus the clowns of course) is going to be a huge success!
I was actually fortunate enough to take home my own set of yellow cupcakes and while I agree that they were totally super-yummy-awesome, I decided it best to refrain from Hank's same unbridled voraciousness. Perhaps on my own birthday I'll throw caution to the wind and get a little messy myself, Hank certainly made it look fun.
A very Happy Birthday to you little man, I can't wait to share more camera time with you soon!

The Bark Magazine | Juliana + Justin's Wedding Featured
Hello all and happy Thursday!!!
Last Summer I was fortunate to join Juliana and Justin Caton for their wedding at Dragonfly Retreat in Bothell. Some of my regular blog readers may remember their post, they were the ones with all the fantastic organic food. If not, you can check it out here.
It's because of these two and their pups, that I am super excited to share with you this month's issue of The Bark magazine. In their article about dogs in your wedding, Here Comes the Bride...and Her Dog, they feature the Caton's pups Jake and Alli. These guys were so much fun to shoot and we had such a great time not only at the wedding, but also at their engagement shoot which was at Marymoor Park (check it here).
Thanks so much to Lisa Wogan at Bark for requesting photos and writing such a wonderful article! If you have a dog (or just really really like dogs) head on over to your local newsstand and pick up this issue today so you can read the full story. Bark is one of the very best mags in the country for dog owners.
One more thing- whether you're planning to include your four-legged friends in your wedding or not, you simply must get a hold of Courtney with Designs By Courtney. She is an amazing florist and the mastermind behind the beautiful collars you see below. She does fantastic work and is a beautiful person to boot! :)

Dorianne + Rick | We're in Miami, Trick!
Drink all dayPlay all nightLet's get it poppin'I'm in Miami trick! -LMFAO
Greetings from beautiful and crazy-fun South Miami Beach, Florida!
I had the privilege to join Dorianne and Rick for their elopement here this past weekend. These two were kind enough to let me in on their private beach ceremony in front of only myself, two beach- blanket seated Jersey vacationers (one of which ended up being one of their witnesses along with myself), and the seagulls. After Friday's charmingly brief ceremony, we strolled the beach and soaked up the waning Winter sun on our way towards cool mojitos. Later that evening we ended up on the roof of our beautiful hotel toasting champagne and enjoying the view before cruising South Beach in a sweet vintage Rolls Royce. Our driver's name? Elvis. No joke.
Saturday my lovely couple were kind enough to throw on their wedding duds one more time to play in the ocean with me. These two are so much fun and full of life and truly just the most beautiful people. We had so much crazy-fun over three days (maybe even a bit too much Thursday night!) that I felt much more a guest than their photographer. We even shocked tons of onlookers at the Clevelander's pool when Rick and Dorianne jumped in in front of everyone in their wedding clothes. While my underwater photography leaves a bit to be desired, I don't care because it was dreadfully fun. :)
Admittedly, I got a bit carried away with photos from our weekend. However, these two are gorgeous, so I don't think you're going to mind...
Enjoy.
xoxo,
ames
