Carmi + Jerem | Married!
Carmi and Jerem were married in July at a cute little church in Rainier Valley followed by a super tasty reception at the Blue Ribbon Cooking School on Lake Union. I absolutely loved Carmi's vintage dress (which she embellished herself) and Jerem's simple-but-fun flower boutonniere with grassy pocket square. Everything had such a fresh, Spring feel. Oh, and how awesome are the guys Converse?! What a great groomsmen gift!
What I really loved about this day was that while many couples decide to take time for fun bridal party photos between the ceremony and reception, most don't invite all their guests to join them!
We all met up at Gasworks Park to soak up a little sun and goof around before their 5pm dinner. What an absolutely gorgeous day it was! There were people flying kites and boats on the water, there were even two other bridal parties there taking their own photos.
Eventually the outdoor merriment had to end and we all headed over to the reception for some fabulously unique appetizers (oyster shooters!) and a pig roast dinner. Topped off with delicious cupcakes and lavender lemonade, this dinner was to die for! Kudos to the Blue Ribbon Cooking School for creating such a wonderful menu. The roast pig was followed up with the cutting of their beautiful cake (with a topper Carmi made herself!), some wonderful toasts and lots and lots of dancing.
As you can see, this couple is anything but ordinary, so to complete their uniquely fun wedding day, Jerem and Carmi made their getaway on Jerem's motorcycle!
To the newlyweds, we enjoyed your day immensely and wish you all the best!!!
xoxo,
amy
