Juliana + Justin | An Organic Affair

Oh, how I love couples who love their dogs! I especially love couples like Juliana and Justin who include them in their wedding party! These two wonderful people were married last month at the beautiful Dragonfly Retreat. Tucked into a little nook of Bothell and surrounded by tall Evergreens, it is by far the quietest and most most peaceful venue I've been to.

Juliana's friend Courtney, of Designs by Courtney, did an amazing job with the floral arrangements. She even created two beautifully crafted floral collars for their pups, Alli and Jake, to wear in the ceremony. She is seriously talented, and I'm going to be sure to pass her info along to my future couples.

My favorite design element of their very quaint and down-to-earth wedding were their table settings. Juliana and Justin grow their own herbs and wanted to incorporate their love of cooking and organic food into their big day, so each of their tables were named after and decorated with a different herb from their garden. It was such a simple and beautiful idea. I also adored their orange themed candy table with everything from jelly bellies to homemade mints courtesy of
mom. The kids were especially fond of the rock candy.

Their sweet and heart warming vows were followed by a delicious dinner catered by The Organic Table, an amazing cake (I really need to ask who was responsible for that little slice of heaven), and mad-crazy dancing.

And at the end of the evening, when their car had been decorated, the keg was dry, and you thought everything was just about over with, a spontaneous game of soccer broke out! It was an awesome way to end an awesome day.

Congrats again to Juliana and Justin (and to Alli and Jake)! I hope you had a fantastic time in France!!!

XOXO,
amy

I love the pictures! Starry Nights in Kirkland did the cake, they were great. We used their food for the rehersal dinner and the bridal shower too, they do great catering as well, but I think their cakes are where they really shine. Thank you so much!

Thanks for the great photos Amy! We will be able to remember this special day forever thanks to the way you captured it. We felt so blessed to have so many great people that were a part of our wedding and you were part of that!
